CPVAdvisor’s advanced multi-objective optimization algorithm enables the design of robust, lightweight Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessels (COPVs) with 20–40% lower material usage while maintaining the strength required for high-pressure applications.

By combining integrated Finite Element Analysis (FEA), a built-in Model Builder and FEM Solver with intelligent optimization, the software refines key design variables such as composite lay-up, winding angles, layer thickness, geometry, and material properties.

It optimizes for uniform stress distribution, minimized fiber stress variation, and reduced vessel weight, while ensuring compliance with failure criteria, dimensional limits, and storage capacity requirements.

Users can start from their own liner and laminate design or generate an optimized baseline automatically.
